Located in the valley of the Yokoyu River in Yamanouchi, Japan, is the Jigokudani Monkey Park. The park is known for its large population of wild Japanese macaques, also known as snow monkeys. In the winter, the monkeys go to the valley to bathe in the warm waters of the hot springs in the park.
